Puppy Vaccination Schedule

At Ember Hills Poodles, the health and well-being of our puppies is a top priority. We follow a veterinarian-recommended vaccination protocol designed to give each puppy the best possible start in life.

Vaccinations help protect puppies from serious and potentially life-threatening diseases while their immune systems are still developing. Because maternal antibodies gradually decrease over time, puppies require a series of vaccines to build strong, lasting immunity.

Our Vaccination Protocol

  • Canine Distemper

  • Parvovirus

10–12 Weeks of Age

Optional Lifestyle Vaccines

Depending on your puppy’s lifestyle, your veterinarian may recommend:

  • Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

  • Leptospirosis

  • Canine Influenza

  • Lyme Disease

These vaccines are often recommended for puppies that attend grooming salons, daycare, boarding facilities, dog parks, or participate in training classes.

What Vaccines Has My Puppy Received?

Each Ember Hills Poodle puppy goes home with a detailed health record showing:

  • Vaccinations received

  • Deworming schedule

  • Veterinary examinations

  • Recommended future vaccination dates

Your puppy’s vaccination record should be shared with your veterinarian to ensure the vaccination series is completed on schedule.

Important Reminder

Puppies are not considered fully protected until they have completed their vaccine series, typically around 16 weeks of age. Until then, avoid exposing your puppy to unknown dogs, dog parks, pet store floors, and other high-traffic areas where contagious diseases may be present.

Our Commitment

At Ember Hills Poodles, we work hard to raise healthy, happy, well-socialized puppies. Proper vaccination, preventative care, nutrition, and early socialization all play an important role in helping your new family member thrive for years to come.
